Winter storm Jonas was the second biggest snowstorm in New York City history, topping the record from 1947.  Approximately 26.8 inches of snow had fallen with only 0.1 inches away from breaking the record of 26.9 inches that was set in February, 2006.   Below are the top ten historical storms in New York City.
