Bhagwati Products Ltd, a leading electronics manufacturer in India, has announced plans to set up a new manufacturing facility as part of its expansion strategy. The company aims to achieve ₹15,000 crore in revenue during the financial year 2025-26, citing strong demand for smartphones, consumer electronics, and smart devices.
Growing Demand Driving Expansion
According to the management, heightened demand in both domestic and export markets has encouraged the company to expand its production capabilities. The upcoming facility is expected to boost output and help Bhagwati Products cater to global brands alongside its own manufacturing commitments.
Boost to 'Make in India' Vision
The expansion aligns with the government’s “Make in India” and Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, which has been instrumental in driving investments in the electronics sector. Bhagwati Products has already been a significant beneficiary of these policies and plans to leverage them further to enhance competitiveness.
Employment and Local Economy Impact
The new unit is also expected to create thousands of direct and indirect job opportunities. Industry experts believe that this move will strengthen India’s position as a global electronics manufacturing hub while contributing significantly to the local economy.
Financial Growth Outlook
For FY 2024-25, Bhagwati Products is on track to cross revenues of around ₹10,000 crore. With the upcoming expansion, the company projects a 50% jump in revenue, supported by surging consumer demand, favorable policies, and widening product offerings.
