Patiala 12 February 2025: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is set to host "HackTech 2025," a dynamic hackathon to foster innovation and technological advancement. This event invites participants to collaborate and develop solutions across a range of critical themes.

- EdTech / Smart Education
- Healthcare and HealthTech / Mental Health and Well-being
- Sustainability in Agriculture, Transportation, etc
- AR/VR Experiences / IoT Solutions
- Deep Fake (Audio, Video, Image)
- Digital Twin
- AI in Voicing (Humanoid Call Center)
- AI for Social Good
- Open Innovation (Any idea having social impact)
Evaluation Framework:
Projects will be assessed based on technical merit, implementation feasibility, and potential societal impact. The evaluation process includes an initial eligibility check, followed by a technical evaluation, and concludes with a final committee review. A diverse panel comprising technical experts, domain specialists, and industry veterans will conduct the assessments.

- Round - I (PPT Round): 18 Feb 2025
- Round - II (Presentation Round, Online mode): 22 Feb 2025
- Final Result: 25 Feb 2025
Prizes and Opportunities:
The hackathon offers three grand cash prizes, five runner-up prizes, and ten innovation awards with merit certificates. Winners will also receive internship opportunities with leading tech companies and gain publicity through media coverage.
