Realme GT 8 Pro With Ricoh GR Camera Set for India Launch on November 20

Realme has officially announced that the Realme GT 8 Pro will launch in India on November 20, 2025. The company is positioning this as its most powerful smartphone to date, bringing together high-end performance and premium photography capabilities. The launch event will be streamed live across Realme’s official YouTube and social media channels.

Partnership With Ricoh for Camera Excellence

The highlight of the GT 8 Pro is its collaboration with Ricoh, the Japanese company famous for its GR series of compact cameras. The smartphone will feature a Ricoh GR-engineered 50MP main camera sensor, optimized for detailed, natural color reproduction and low-light performance. Realme claims the sensor will deliver “street photography-level sharpness and texture,” appealing to both professionals and enthusiasts.

Powerful Performance and Design Upgrades

Under the hood, the Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, built on a 3nm process. The device may come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. Realme is also teasing a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3000 nits, ensuring fluid visuals and vibrant clarity.

Design-wise, Realme may opt for a glass-metal sandwich body with curved edges and a distinctive circular camera housing to emphasize its Ricoh collaboration.

Battery, Charging, and Software

The Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 150W SUPERVOOC fast charging, capable of fully charging the phone in under 20 minutes. On the software side, it will run Realme UI 6 based on Android 15, featuring advanced AI-driven tools for performance optimization, photography, and productivity.

Expected Price and Availability

While Realme hasn’t revealed the price, industry insiders suggest that the GT 8 Pro could start around ₹54,999 in India, putting it in direct competition with the OnePlus 13, Xiaomi 15, and iQOO 13 Pro. The phone will likely be available via Realme’s official website, Flipkart, and major retail partners shortly after launch.

Aiming for the Flagship Segment

The Realme GT 8 Pro marks a strategic move by Realme to re-enter the flagship smartphone segment with cutting-edge technology and a strong photography partnership. The inclusion of Ricoh optics could set a new benchmark for camera quality in the premium mid-range category.

As the launch date nears, Realme is expected to release more teasers highlighting the device’s design, camera samples, and AI-powered imaging capabilities.
