Realme has officially launched Realme UI 7.0, its latest Android-based operating system, for users in India. The new interface brings a refreshed design, AI-powered tools, deeper customization options, and a focus on both performance and privacy. Based on Android 15, the rollout will begin later this month, with top-tier Realme flagships receiving the update first.
Rollout Roadmap: Flagships First, Budget Models Later
According to Realme’s official announcement, the Realme UI 7.0 rollout roadmap will kick off in late November 2025, starting with models like Realme GT 8 Pro, Realme GT 7, and Realme 12 Pro+. Mid-range phones such as the Realme Narzo 70 series and Realme 11 Pro will receive updates in December 2025, followed by entry-level devices like the Realme C65 and C55 in early 2026.
The company has also promised extended software support—up to four years of major OS updates and five years of security patches—for select flagship models.
Visual Refresh and Dynamic Design
The Realme UI 7.0 introduces a cleaner, more fluid interface, focusing on minimalism and adaptive design. Icons now feature depth and material-like finishes, while system animations are faster and smoother. Users can also switch between dynamic color themes that adapt to wallpapers, a feature inspired by Android 15’s Material You design language.
AI-Powered Enhancements
AI integration is at the heart of Realme UI 7.0. The new AI Smart Assistant offers real-time summarization of messages and articles, smart photo organization, and even contextual voice suggestions. A highlight addition is AI Screen Recognition, allowing users to copy text, translate, or share content directly from images or screenshots.
Improved Performance and Battery Management
Realme has optimized the system with a Dynamic Performance Engine, which intelligently adjusts power consumption based on user activity. The OS promises up to 15% better battery life and 20% faster app launches. Gaming enthusiasts will benefit from the HyperBoost 2.0 engine, ensuring smoother frame rates and reduced latency during high-performance tasks.
Privacy and Security Upgrades
Security remains a top focus in Realme UI 7.0. New features include Private Safe 3.0, which encrypts sensitive files with on-device protection, and Smart Permission Control, giving users granular control over app access. Additionally, the Secure Clipboard ensures copied data is automatically cleared after use, preventing accidental leaks.
Customisation and Personalization Options
The update brings advanced Always-On Display (AOD) themes, customizable lockscreen widgets, and 3D live wallpapers. Realme Lab features will allow users to experiment with early access tools and beta functionalities before their official release.
Availability and How to Update
Realme UI 7.0 will be available as an OTA (Over-The-Air) update. Users can manually check availability by navigating to Settings > About Device > Software Update. Beta testing for select models will begin from November 15, 2025, ahead of the stable release.
