Reliance has officially launched its latest innovation, JioFrames, a pair of AI-powered smart glasses aimed at reshaping how users interact with technology. The product was announced under Jio Platforms, further strengthening the company’s ambition to merge connectivity, AI, and smart devices for everyday use.
JioFrames features real-time AI integration
The JioFrames smart glasses come equipped with an AI-powered assistant, capable of real-time translations, voice-guided navigation, and contextual search. Reliance has designed the device to seamlessly connect with Jio 5G services, ensuring ultra-fast performance for streaming, video calls, and augmented experiences.
Designed for work, entertainment, and accessibility
Beyond entertainment, JioFrames targets professionals and students with productivity-driven features such as voice-to-text transcriptions, meeting summaries, and instant note-taking. The glasses also provide hands-free accessibility tools, making them especially useful for differently-abled users.
Lightweight build with premium touch
Reliance has focused on making the glasses both lightweight and stylish, with multiple frame options to suit different tastes. Built-in directional speakers and noise-canceling microphones allow for clear audio without compromising privacy.
Availability and pricing
Reliance has announced that JioFrames will be available in select Indian cities by the end of 2025, with a phased rollout planned across the country. While the official price is yet to be disclosed, analysts expect it to be competitively priced to rival global smart wearables like Meta’s Ray-Ban Stories and Google Glass.
