Premium OLED Experience Hits Indian Market
Sony India has officially launched its much-anticipated Bravia 8 II series smart televisions, expanding its premium TV lineup with next-gen OLED panels and AI-enhanced features. The new range, powered by the Cognitive Processor XR, aims to deliver ultra-realistic picture quality, deeper blacks, immersive audio, and a smooth viewing experience. Available in 55-inch and 65-inch screen sizes, the Bravia 8 II is priced starting from ₹2,39,990.
Cognitive Intelligence and XR Processing
At the heart of the Bravia 8 II series lies Sony’s flagship Cognitive Processor XR, which mimics human perception to boost contrast, clarity, and motion performance. This chip works alongside XR OLED Contrast Pro and XR Triluminos Pro technologies to ensure lifelike visuals with rich color gradation. The TVs also support 4K upscaling and 120Hz refresh rate, catering especially to gamers and cinema lovers alike.
Immersive Audio with Acoustic Surface Audio+
Sony continues to differentiate itself with unique sound technology. The Bravia 8 II uses Acoustic Surface Audio+, where the screen itself acts as the speaker, offering a highly immersive soundstage. This is paired with XR Surround and support for Dolby Atmos, ensuring a cinematic audio experience directly from the TV without needing external speakers.
Smart Features Powered by Google TV
Running on Google TV, the Bravia 8 II gives users access to thousands of apps, including Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video. Voice commands through Google Assistant and compatibility with Apple AirPlay and HomeKit make smart navigation seamless. The TV also features Bravia Core, Sony’s own high-quality streaming service.
Eco-Conscious and Sleek Design
With a minimalist, One Slate design, the Bravia 8 II blends into any modern living room. Sony also highlights its commitment to sustainability—the series uses recyclable packaging and components made with SORA (Sustainable Oriented Recycling for Appliances) material to reduce environmental impact.
