Jio Integrates Google Gemini 3 Into Free AI Plan for Unlimited 5G Users

Reliance Jio has taken another major step in accelerating India’s AI revolution by integrating Google’s newly upgraded Gemini 3 model into its existing Jio Gemini Pro Plan. The most significant highlight: the upgraded AI access will remain completely free for all unlimited 5G users, making advanced generative AI more accessible than ever to millions of smartphone users across the country.

A Boost for Jio’s AI Ecosystem

With Gemini 3 on board, Jio aims to expand the capabilities of its AI-powered tools across its app ecosystem—including MyJio, JioTV, JioCinema, JioCloud, and JioChat.
Users can expect faster responses, improved understanding of regional languages, better content suggestions, and more human-like conversational abilities.

Free Access for Unlimited 5G Customers

The company clarified that the Jio Gemini Pro Plan, which already provides AI support for tasks like summaries, translations, content creation, and voice queries, will now run entirely on Gemini 3 without any subscription fees.
This move positions Jio as one of the first telecom providers globally to offer a high-end AI model as part of a standard 5G package.

Gemini 3 Enhances Multilingual Capabilities

Gemini 3’s improved multilingual engine is a major win for India’s diverse language landscape.
Users will benefit from more accurate responses in Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Gujarati, Malayalam, and Kannada, alongside English.
This allows Jio to broaden its AI accessibility, particularly in tier-2 and tier-3 cities where regional language usage is significantly higher.

Deeper Integration Into Jio’s Digital Services

Jio is preparing deeper integration of Gemini 3 across upcoming services:

  • JioCloud: Smarter file search and summarization

  • JioTV & Cinema: Personalized recommendations and voice-driven navigation

  • JioDive & JioGlass: AI-assisted mixed-reality experiences

  • JioMart: Smarter product search, deal discovery, and shopping assistance

The company says these updates will roll out gradually over the coming weeks.

Strengthening India’s AI Infrastructure

Jio’s partnership with Google continues to expand beyond smartphones and cloud infrastructure. The inclusion of Gemini 3 fits into the company’s larger vision of creating AI for all, a mission Mukesh Ambani highlighted earlier this year.
By including advanced AI in routine mobile plans, Jio aims to democratize AI access and stimulate technological adoption across India.
