Ahmedabad, Gujarat, January 2025 – The Centre of Excellence in Data Science (CoE-DS), in collaboration with the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department at Nirma University, is all set to host its annual flagship event, Hackathon MINeD 2025. Organized in partnership with SUNY Binghamton University, USA, this 48-hour virtual coding marathon will take place from January 30 to February 1, 2025.

Building on the momentum of its previous editions, MINeD 2025 promises to be bigger and better, inviting students from across the nation to showcase their creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

A Legacy of Innovation

Since its inception, MINeD has grown exponentially in both scope and participation. The past four editions—MINeD 2021, MINeD 2022, MINeD 2023, and MINeD 2024—attracted over 1100 participants from more than 25 colleges nationwide. The hackathon has consistently provided a platform for aspiring technologists to collaborate and innovate, featuring specialized tracks such as Open Innovations and offering lucrative prizes sponsored by leading industry partners and SUNY Binghamton University.

Prizes and Tracks

This year, MINeD 2025 offers grand prizes of USD 500, USD 300, and USD 200 to the top three winning teams, courtesy of SUNY Binghamton University. Additionally, track-specific prizes will be sponsored by industry partners, ensuring participants are rewarded for their ingenuity across diverse domains.
