OnePlus 15 Launches Tonight in India: Flagship Redefined with Next-Gen Power and Design

The much-awaited OnePlus 15 is set to officially launch in India tonight, marking one of the biggest smartphone unveilings of the year. The company has teased several features ahead of the event, confirming that the new flagship will bring a blend of powerful performance, refined design, and AI-driven camera innovation.

Premium Design with Titanium Build

OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will feature a titanium alloy frame, similar to those found on premium models like the iPhone 15 Pro series. The design is expected to combine durability with a sleek, lightweight feel. The phone will also debut a new matte glass finish, available in classic shades like Obsidian Black, Glacial Silver, and Emerald Green.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Blazing Performance

At the heart of the OnePlus 15 lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset — the most advanced processor in the Android ecosystem. It promises significant improvements in CPU and GPU performance while maintaining higher efficiency. Paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, the device aims to deliver seamless multitasking and gaming performance.

AI-Powered Hasselblad Camera System

OnePlus continues its collaboration with Hasselblad, bringing a redesigned AI camera system to the OnePlus 15. The triple-camera setup is rumored to include a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Enhanced by AI scene optimization and computational HDR, the camera promises sharper details, better low-light performance, and true-to-life colors.

120Hz LTPO AMOLED Display

The device will feature a 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. OnePlus claims the new panel offers up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and improved power efficiency. The screen will also integrate OxygenOS 15’s Smart Color Calibration, enhancing visual accuracy across lighting conditions.

Massive Battery with Ultra-Fast Charging

Battery life remains a OnePlus strength — and the OnePlus 15 doubles down with a 5,400mAh dual-cell battery supporting 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Wireless charging is also expected, possibly up to 50W AirVOOC. According to OnePlus, a 15-minute charge can power the phone for an entire day.

Expected Price and Availability

While OnePlus has not revealed the official pricing yet, leaks suggest that the OnePlus 15 base variant (12GB + 256GB) could be priced around ₹64,999, with higher configurations touching ₹74,999. The phone will be available for pre-orders immediately after launch through Amazon India, OnePlus.in, and offline OnePlus Experience Stores.

What to Expect at the Launch Event

The OnePlus 15 launch event will be live-streamed globally on YouTube and the OnePlus website at 7:30 PM IST. Alongside the smartphone, OnePlus may also introduce new OnePlus Buds 4 Pro and a special edition smartwatch, expanding its premium ecosystem lineup.
