Samsung Expands Galaxy AI Language Support with Gujarati Integration

Samsung has officially announced the addition of Gujarati language support to its Galaxy AI suite, further strengthening its commitment to local language accessibility and inclusivity. The update allows Gujarati-speaking users to fully utilize Galaxy AI’s translation, transcription, and live communication features in their native language.

Expanding Language Inclusivity Across India

With the integration of Gujarati, Samsung continues its mission to make cutting-edge AI technology more inclusive for Indian users. Galaxy AI now supports multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali — making it more accessible to millions of regional users. The addition aims to bridge the digital divide by bringing AI-powered tools to a broader demographic.

Gujarati Now Available in Live Translate, Chat Assist, and Note Assist

Users can now use Live Translate, Chat Assist, and Note Assist in Gujarati on compatible Galaxy devices such as the Galaxy S24 series and select Galaxy Z Fold and Flip models. This enhancement allows for real-time translation of calls, text messages, and notes, helping users communicate more naturally and effectively in Gujarati.

Samsung’s Focus on Local Innovation

The new update underscores Samsung’s focus on local innovation, particularly in India — one of its biggest markets. By enhancing Galaxy AI with regional language support, Samsung aims to increase the daily usability of its devices among Indian consumers, making AI more relatable and culturally relevant.

Availability and Rollout Details

The Gujarati language support will roll out through an OTA (over-the-air) software update over the coming weeks. Samsung has confirmed that the update will be available for devices running One UI 6.1 and above. More regional language additions are expected in future updates, signaling Samsung’s ongoing push toward multilingual AI expansion.
