NVIDIA Opens Applications for Prestigious Graduate Fellowship Program 2026–2027

Global technology leader NVIDIA has announced the opening of applications for its Graduate Fellowship Program, aimed at supporting outstanding PhD students conducting groundbreaking research in computing and engineering fields.

The fellowship, recognized as one of the most competitive in the industry, offers funding and collaboration opportunities to doctoral scholars working on research that aligns with NVIDIA’s vision of advancing AI, computing, and system architecture.

Eligibility requires applicants to have completed at least one year of PhD-level studies by the time of application. Candidates must be specializing in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, and engaged in active research as part of their thesis.

To qualify, students must remain enrolled as full-time PhD scholars during the 2026–2027 academic year. Graduating before May/June 2027 will make applicants ineligible.

In addition to funding, selected fellows are expected to complete a summer internship at one of NVIDIA’s international research offices located in the United States, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Israel, or Taiwan.

The fellowship is administered through the student’s university, with funds disbursed directly to the institution rather than the individual.

NVIDIA described the program as a way to “nurture the next generation of researchers and innovators,” highlighting that recipients will gain access not only to financial support but also to mentorship and exposure to real-world challenges at the forefront of technology.
